We talk kids birthday parties, BBQ, and yes, politics.

Al Franken is one of the funniest people I know .

Al guest hosting for Kimmel.

But when it comes to politics, he’s serious. During this conversation, we talked about the best thing he thinks anyone can do to support the candidates you believe in. We also talked about his favorite childhood food memory, Franklin BBQ, his favorite food city.

You’re going to have to watch all the way to the end for the best flex I’ve seen on any interview. Trust me.

A few things we talked about:

Lattanzi NYC
The Kenwood - Minneapolis
Tavern on Grand - St. Paul
Al eating corn at the MN State Fair

People ask how I do it all. The truth is, I don’t. For a few dollars a month, you can support Spilled Milk and the team that makes it..

About Al:

He served Minnesota in the Senate from 2009-2018, serving on the Judiciary, Energy, Indian Affairs, and HELP (Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions) Committees.

Currently, he hosts The Al Franken Podcast, runs the political action committee, Midwest Values PAC, which supports Democrats and a host of other good, non-political things.
