Rosh Hashanah is celebrated tonight through Yom Kippur in my house, and while fried foods are the domain of Hanukkah, sweet treats for a sweeeeeeeet New Year are the tradition for the changing of our calendar.
I make sufganiyot every year for Hanukkah (fried jelly donuts), and a few years I started tweaking the recipe to make more of a donut hole that I drizzle with honey for Rosh Hashanah.
Shanah Tovah to all! Praying for a better year ahead, for our whole world and all who live there.
