Easy Double-Cheesy Back-to-School Burritos: Spilled Milk #133
Need a quick, delicious meal? I've got you.
As far as many are concerned, summer is a state of mind. It’s 90 degrees today in Minnesota, and I started the morning with a swim in the lake, but nevertheless kids all across America are back in school.
This recipe is for everyone, and dedicated to all you busy parents and hungry kids looking for a GREAT and quick/easy meal.
I love it for many reasons:
The crunchy cheese on the inside and on the outside.
The use of any meaty or vegetable leftovers.
The way I can load lots healthy vegetables inside this, and kids devour it.
The fact that when I make my world-famous black bean chili (it has won awards here and abroad after all 😎), I make a lot and freeze it in resealable bags laid flat in the freezer so I can defrost it and have it hot inside a burrito in 10 minutes! Extra points for making the chili and other dishes with my spice blends, which are rolling out in more markets every month. Next up: At a Kroger near you.
BEANS!! Everyone needs to eat more beans. PLEASE check out www.beansishow.org and see why. I promise you it’s fascinating. We can eat our way to better health, longer lives (check outwww.bluezones.com ) and help our planet get healthier and stay that way just by eating more beans!
And everyone loves a burrito. So try this technique/recipe instead of Taco Tuesday at your house.
So yeah, you have to check out the video.
