What’s your favorite fall destination?
I want to see your answers in the chat. Let’s share with each other.
I love to travel in the fall, and my go-to destinations are pretty diverse. From weekends or micro vacations, they help me get through the busy season.
Destination 1: The Big House For a Big Game.
Michigan might be my favorite place to see a game. And I love college football. I’ve taken in games in dozens of stadiums around the country, but watching Ohio State, Minnesota or Michigan State travel into Ann Arbor for the big game is as good as it gets. Fall colors, great tailgating, superb dining make for a fun weekend.
Hit up Zingerman’s Deli for sure, that’s the ONE PLACE you can’t skip. I also like Knight’s Steakhouse for a Friday night pre-game beef splurge, the Blue Llama Jazz Club for music and a meal (the fondue there is not a fondon’t for a reason), Miss Kim has excellent Korean food and has to be on any ‘must go’ list, Tomukun Noodle Bar is another Korean stalwart with lots of noodles and KBBQ, Ma Lou’s for fried chicken is another fave of mine, and for dinner after the game Spencer delivers the goods, a modernist small plates restaurant that cares about what they put on the plate. Stay at the Graduate or Bell Tower for a good hotel option near the stadium.
Destination #2: Miami Beach Time
