It’s cold everywhere and despite the FAA meltdown (WTF?) and the Southwest implosion the week before, NOW is the time to head south to the Caribbean. Before Presidents Day weekend and spring break.
Hotels and VRBO prices are all down over the next month or so. This past week I visited Grand Cayman at the Cayman Cookout, hosted by my friend Eric Ripert and the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman. I go every year and eat out as much as I can considering the all-star line up of rockstar chefs whose food I eat every day on campus. Anyway, some local favorites are listed below and I included a special recipe for you—and a video—as well of one of the dishes I demonstrated at my Izikaya on the Island presentation. Japanese fried chicken is superb!
