I get more requests for Bizarre Foods content than anything else.
So when my friends at Yama Seafood sent me sea urchin and tuna tail I knew they’d be a good fit for a recipe here. These are two ingredients that sound unattainable and, maybe, impossible to make a meal from. But they’re not. They are affordable ingredients that markets want to move. And they’re SO good that you won’t need to do much to make them into a delicious meal.
