It’s Shrimp with Spinach, Lemon and Dill.

It’s a closer. Make this for someone you are crushing on. As the late great Donna Summer once said, “Dim all the lights sweet darling / 'Cause tonight it's all the way.” (She also sang “I feel looooooove” over and over and over. I adore her.)

I know some people enjoy going out for Valentine’s Dinner. I don’t. I like to cook for someone. Why?

Do I really need to say?

Its amateur night in restaurants and if you have ever worked in one, you already knew that.

People ask how I do it all. The truth is, I don’t. For a few dollars a month, you can support Spilled Milk and the team that makes it.

And ideally it’s a romantic night, so pop a bottle of bubbly, add some cassis and make a Kir Royale (pretty pink color and a delicious drink) and cook your loved one this delicious, easy, fast one-skillet charmer.

Take a few bites with them right out of the pan, drink some champagne, enjoy some time in front of the fireplace on the bearskin rug and then an hour later finish off the shrimp! This can be served over pastina or orzo for round two, by the way.

A word of caution: Don’t use garlic for this dish, on this night of all nights.
