We cover airports, my favorite chefs, and what I would trade my fame for
I travel a lot. I don’t eat anything at airports that might get me sick. I avoid pre-made salads and sandwiches, and barbecue—I’ve found good barbecue doesn’t exist in airports so I don’t even try. Every airport in the US has local food brands in their airports and I like supporting them, but I also like to bring food with me for the long flights.
Someone asked about my favorite chefs—and the list is so long I can’t possibly share it in one post. I have deep respect for people like Dan Giusti of Brigaid. Chefs who are using their talent to better their communities.
I also answer what I would trade my fame for if I could. And I wonder the same of you? What would you trade your experiences and accolades for if you could turn back time?
Now I’m headed back to all things football and I can’t wait to watch the game. Let me know what you’ll be making in the comments! I have a lot of great recipes on my site.
People ask how I do it all. The truth is, I don’t. For a few dollars a month, you can support Spilled Milk and the team that makes it.
What are your favorite airport foods?
Who are your favorite chefs?
I noticed in your last Ask Me Anything from Atlanta airport that you weren't wearing a mask. I'm of a similar age to you and still have quite a bit of Covid paranoia. I have not had Covid and still wear a mask when I go to an indoor public place. I would like to know your thoughts on the mask issue and whether you worry about Covid. Thanks in advance.
If you could trade all your fame and accolades for one thing what would it be?
