This week, we talk about school lunches, teaching your college student to cook and my philosophy about gluten-free, dairy-free or anything-free dishes.
Hi Andrew. Thanks for answering my question. We definitely checked out a few places in Paris before we chose where to eat. I am sure that made a difference. And, like you commented, we didn't really care when we got served as long as we had some water and a glass of wine in front of us. Also, regarding smells... we didn't experience that so much in Paris because we generally ate outside, but here in the Twin Cities every time I go to my favorite Indian restaurant I take a moment to breath deep and experience the wonderful aromas before we sit down. I love it.
I am probably not the first, but you said a couple of times that the Federal Budget is 1.2 Billion and I think you meant 1.2 TRILLION so your rounding error comment would then make sense...
Great questions. Just sickening that we haven’t fixed the child hunger situation. Please keep screaming that message!
I make your gazpacho recipe all the time, love it for breakfast, great way to use up whatever veg is hanging around....looking forward to use my own garden tomatoes soon!
I THINK it's a crime & sickening we haven’t fixed the HUNGER problem with all in mind...........basically WTF.!!!???!!! As far as I'm concerned, let them take money from the Military Budget, which was $815B/2023; next year proposed $842B/2024... Take Andrew's $17B... better round-up to $20B and snatch that from the military budget that wastes more than all gov.agencies combined.... Q: How many soldiers families have hungry kids... even they do, so let the Armed Forces deal with that battle too many face... & it's NOT just kids..!!!!
Hey Andrew, the James Beard Awards are just around the corner. My wife and I went last year and had such a fantastic experience that we're going back again this year! What are you most excited about at this year's awards celebration?
While in our beautiful city this week...are you going to make the Dead show at Wrigley Field at end of the week?? 🎶🧸

Great one, Andrew! Your broccoli did not perish in vain.
