Grilling season has officially begun.
Warmer temps have reached our colder states. Weekend warriors all over the nation are cleaning up the grills and wheeling out the smokers. So here is the question:
What’s your favorite thing to grill?
I want to know your go-to, gotta-have-it, can’t-wait-to-throw-it-over-live-fire meal.
For me, it’s grilled chicken in all its iterations. And this weekend, I am going to grill some smokey chicken dark quarters with homemade BBQ sauce for sure. Get the recipe here.

Grilled Pizza is unbelievable with certain techniques.
My first desire each season is a grilled and charred beef hot dog and/or a good burger on a grilled bun. Grilled onion is awesome. My family loves sweet onions cut to the root, and prepped with butter, pepper and soy or Worcestershire sauce. Wrap in foil and grill until soft. So sweet and succulent. So many options and all delicious!
Ooooo, everything is better with fire. And I'm such a carnivore. :) But salmon actually. Specifically THIS salmon. It's perfection. https://www.sunset.com/recipe/car-dogs-sweet-cured-smoked-salmon. I have made it many times a summer for years and never get tired of it.
