Oh man, Andrew....of all the places in the world, why did you pick my Island, when it kills me to think I probably can't go. I say "my" island, but my it was my father who was born and raised there. I actually teared up looking at the itinerary. I've been to every beautiful town on the list, more than once, and SO grateful that you are going to show people the gem that is Sicily. Wow
I'm not Andrew, but being Sicilian I can tell you the island has the most wonderful fruits and vegetables because of the soil, sun and sea air....known for eggplant, zucchini, mushrooms, peas, tomatoes, escarole, and so many others. Delicious figs and apricots you can pick off the trees. They're known for pasta with cauliflower and pasta with zucchini so those are good options. And then there's the pizzas and the cheeses and the olives and the pastries and gelato...oh brother. Nisha, if you're able to go, please do it.
