I am a ball of emotions. Partly because of everything you just posted about, but mainly because my god-son is on his way back from Iraq after a very long deployment. He arrives back in US tomorrow! We’ve been texting this morning as he’s on his last leg..36 hrs to go. Memorial Day has never meant more to me. While we remember all those lost, and honor those in our families who served esp our parents, grandparents…nothing ihits harder than seeing this 24 year old man in full combat gear. I still see the 5 year old in camo pants playing “ army guys”.

Bottle rock…pls post more!!! I was following their gram this weekend, wow!! PINK!!!! Wowsa!

Music is therapy! All who attended, must be feeling like all your batteries have been recharged! 🎶

How poignant, astute, insightful & wise... Memorial Day should be honored everyday.!!! Thus we think in parallel & in unison... treating people as equals and a respectful way, it isn't that difficult. Treating people the way you would like to be treated, shouldn't be soooo mind blowing...??? That's how I was raised by my parents, I miss them SO...

I don't care what race, color, religion, persuasion (LGBTQ) and/or whatever culture... We all bleed red, never forget that... Many times I wish the world was color blind, thus people couldn't judge a book by it's cover, you'd have talk to them to learn who they are... granted it would take a toll on all the beautiful nature surrounding us...

Andrew I'm 3+ years my junior... yet when I reflect on the world around us, I think of my favorite quotes from Robert Kennedy, "Some men see things as they are, and ask Why?... I dream of things that never were, and ask Why not?" I hope I live to see yours and my dreams come true...??? I hope SO, sooner than later, at least in my lifetime left on earth...

Thanks a Zillion for coming to BottleRock this weekend, and please try to come around every year you possibly can! I still have my prized Alice Cooper-autographed rubber chicken right here at my desk! The message you and your peers convey from that stage is awesome and we all have so much fun! Sorry Jose Andres couldn't make it but his serving a higher cause is inspiring even from thousands of miles away - he deserved a shout-out from every chef who took the stage! I think YOU should be the first chef in the World to cook on stage with an Anthony Bourdain hologram!!! Thanks for the servings of Spilled Milk! Maybe on Friday you could answer "Who would be your Top-5 rockers to share the Williams Sonoma stage with? Maybe 5 living, 5 passed
