I’ve actually never eaten a plate of BBQ in Austin. Their food truck game is STRONG! And I’ve pretty much just eaten where the lines were, and yes, many were tacos. Every one delicious! That’s a fun town, which makes me want to try whatever they are playing with.
Thanks for sharing your favorite taco spots! We’re moving to San Antonio from Southern California in June, so we’ll be able to try some of these places. In your opinion, how does Texas tacos compare to Southern California tacos?
In my professional tennis travels,... In Austin, EVERYDAY is Tuesday.!!! Same in San Antonio, El Paso, Amarillo, etc.... Perhaps all of Texas everyday is also Tuesday...??? Who cares... So Cheers & lets make some of those Salas.!!!
Whaaaat??? No Torchy's Tacos? OMG...an Austin institution. If you didn't make it, go to the original Torchy's food truck, it it's still there, on S. 1st Street if my memory serves correctly. I moved away 4 years ago. A treat...truly!
I seem to always have tacos on Tuesdays 😀. It's easy for me, dinner tonight spicy ground beef tacos. Lol

I get fresh fish here in Florida, so if I eat them out or make them at home, it’s typically with grouper or snapper 🌮🐟
