This changes periodically for me. Right now it’s butter & eggs. After a defiant “im not paying that $” for generic grocery store butter…I happily & without looking at the $ added it to my haul at the Farmers market…(mentally having my Sheila E moment…”if u have to ask…🎶”)

Later saw I paid $9 for butter. This weekend my friends daughter wanted just butter on her home made tortillas. And while I applauded a 6 year olds appreciation of a well made tortilla…I did stash it from her so I didn’t turn into my dad & tell her how much it cost. 😂

Oh, and ice cream. That’s a food right?

Lots of good raw salmon, tuna, urchin and any accouterment which ads to that experience. That and chocolate brownies but I try very hard not to indulge in them any more.

Chicken paprikash with lots of sweet and hot paprika, mashed potatoes and red cabbage with cooked apples. The chicken has to be thighs which is the Hungarian way.

Honestly ... I could eat pizza every day, probably because the possibilities are endless based on whatever else I can get my hands on. The food I could never scratch off my list, though, is probably eggs. My old Italian great grandmother used to say that if you have eggs in your fridge, you have a meal. It's true. Omelets (with all that great cheese), frittata with whatever leftovers you have in it, quiche, French toast, over easy, egg salad, souffle, ... whatever else you are limited to at any given time can be turned into a meal with the assistance of the mighty egg.

Cheese is a close second. VERY close second.

I'm with you...cheeses of all kinds! Not to mention incredibly good bread and butter to go with the cheese. And a wonderful glass of vino to match.

Umpqua brand vanilla bean ice cream. I'd have a riot in my house if this was not in the freezer...and I would have to maim someone if they ate it all and did not leave any for me. Also, there are always samosas in my freezer.

I could eat corn flakes absolutely any time. Also tacos. Fancy donuts. Homemade falafel sandwiches with lots of toppings in fried bread. The other side of the coin, I’m sort of…kind of…I might edit this… is it even possible….I’ve had too much…I’ve had enough of pizza?
