I need to learn how to cook venison so I'll like the taste. Plus that would help my garden a great deal, because those things are impossible to keep out of it! I think there are more deer than people in Silverton, Oregon. They literally walk the streets in town. Even with babies in tow. They're adorable.....but not.....

It is clear that you were in your element. Loved the format. Short and sweet. My Mom taught me how to "read" a recipe and I have found many books I have curled up with and "devoured". Not a fan of bison but the two sauces are awesome. Love trout. And I will try my hand at that dish for sure. How clever to wrap it in prosciutto. I adore your verve for life and your references to being Jewish. It zings me when I hear it. Mostly grew up in the south so being around Jewish strangers was unheard of. There isn't a format you are in charge of that wouldn't get by me. I am a Zimmern hound.

Andrew, can't tell you how happy I am to see this show has arrived - I'll look forward to digging in! And of course, you know you've got peeps if you'd like to do a show in Cali! Dove, duck, goose, quail, turkey, pig, deer, snipe - oh, snipe, how I love thee! You're invited, as long as you can hang out with a group of ass-kicking women who have to be bleeped a lot. And of course Hank, who also has to be bleeped. So much bleeping.

Loved this! It was clear you were in your happy place, water, fire, fishing, food! Not a hunter, but I grew up fishing & family vacations in a cabin on the water. 4 brothers & a dad who loved to fish….this is what we did…of course we cooked a bit simpler….but the water, fire, trout, bass & cabin….lovely memories. In my imaginary time machine?? I would bring my dad back & cook that trout for him. I’ve had bison before…it was not stellar, but now I’m craving a bowl of bison nuggets.

Hey AZ... I've truly & thoroughly enjoy you're newer project, 'Andrew Zimmern Wild Outdoor Kitchen'... I've watched every episode & have saved all the recipes... I live in Brewtown, Wisconsin, and my best friend's Dad, was executive officer's chef in the military & an expert marksman. They had 180-acres of hunting grounds, w/ 5 lakes & a nice cabin in Spooner Wisconsin. I spent all my whole summers there. He engraved the value of nature, preserving it & living-off it as well... We grew our veggies, herbs & watermelons, picked wild strawberries & blue blueberries, even utilizing rainwater... Instilled, "You only hunt, fish & forge what you NEED, nothing more.!!"... if we didn't catch, forge or pick enough, that's Ok, we improvise, yet waste was heavily frowned upon... SOooo watch your Wild Outdoor Kitchen brings back tremendous memories of my childhood... Outdoor cooking, hunting, fishing, forging & growing was a passion, and your outdoor videos have renewed that desire and I'm PSYCHED-Up for this summer to start... hit the park, and start cooking outdoors all summer long ~ THANKs for regenerating my inspiration... I'm preaching and sending 'links' to all my chef & foodie friends. I think you should emphasize this on your other other webpages, along with your huge following... always best regards & be well....
