I cried today due to SCOTUS.

I'm a crier at times and mostly want to hide that from people. Yesterday at physical therapy, my therapist said that he bought" the engagement ring of this loves hearts desire". It gave me goose bumps but I refused to cry in front of him. ( I think he got my joy) I guess It has always been a sign of my melodramatic side which I couldn't control or proof that I was a little insane. While I still feel those may still ring a little true, I would prefer to think of those moments as" being full." Much less negative and so much more positive. Thank you for sharing Mr. Marsalis's words.

I'm not really a 'Dessert' person, yet when it comes to a sweet treat, birthday or whatever, Angel Food cake is my #1 GO-TO cake treat in any form, with mixed berries, Kiwi & Honeydew melon or Golden Kiwi & Cantaloupe, along with a Key Lime pie with a fluffy semi-burnt meringue topping....

As for 'Crying', I'm not afraid to cry whatsoever... My Mom was an extremely sensitive individual, teaching me to never be ashamed of wearing & sharing your emotions, "It's who you are."... I tear-up several times a week, yet the fact that I keep my emotions in the forefront, I believe is a good thing... it allows me to access a broad and vast emotions quickly because they are so close to the surface. Many times it's been said, "You're too sensitive.!!" To which I say Poppycock, Horsefeathers, Hogwash & Codswallop.!!!

As close to the surface as they are, I try to avoid being an overly emotional, blubbering fool... 'Balance' is the key to pretty much everything I believe... I think of it as "Feng Shui" of my mind & soul to allow emotions to flow naturally throughout one's self... Perhaps it's a "Tranquility" quality one tries to attain for the balance of serenity, composure and a calmness in life to share with others... I quietly celebrate my "Id" on a daily basis.... WAHOO.!!! – now it's your turn....

BTW: when you posted your "Best Eats Lists: Spilled Milk #28", I posted a musical parody to "I've Been Everywhere Man" by Johnny Cash, to "I've Eat'n Everywhere Man"... <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ov4epAJRPMw>

I thought you & your production crew would have a ton-of-fun do'in-it… just a thought, you’ve probably been to all mentioned… + a thousand more… I was hoping to hear from you or a AZ Team person... Oh well...

As usual, have a terrific weekend Andrew, Crew/Staff & Subscribers... Cheers & wear your emotions on your sleeve this weekend & have a Ton-of-FUN doing it 1 & All.... (and if you do, you might just surprize some people, perhaps, yourself.???)

🙋‍♀️ Full over here also…happy, sad, joy, fear…it can happen. This morning….well, several times.

I’m a Turkey-day time b-day…and for lots of years had candles shoved in a pumpkin pie. Then I asked for pecan pie…repeat…now I sort of hate both. So I am down with any true form of actual Borthday Cske concoction put in front of me now!

Just maserated some berries for berry & shortcake’s later! Thx for the idea.

Love your story about the importance of crying and how you learned about "feeling full." I love Wynton Marsalis (saw him in concert in Detroit) and love cake, and cried this morning after some historical news broke.

On the grill note, my seven year old switched from ketchup to spicy brown mustard on his hot dogs. I may have cried because he’s so awesome.

Thanks for the great AMA. Great job continuing to challenge yourself and the audience. People and music both bring me “full” every single day.

Hope this makes you cry Andrew, for all the right reasons....... maybe you've heard it???

A guy walks into a restaurant and orders Turtle soup . The waiter hollers “One Turtle Soup”. A moment later the guy calls the waiter over and says, I’ve changed my mind , I would like Pea Soup The waiter hollers “ Hold The Turtle and Make It Pea “

BTW: Would you consider having a "Kitchen Komics Korner" where subscribers could post funny culinary jokes, humor, anecdotes & quotes... While I was a line-cook, I did some stand-up comedy for extra income... as you're aware, not going to get rich as a line-cook....
