Dude. Totally not judging. I love a lot of small birds (dove, snipe, quail), but I've never eaten a baby bird. Sounds incredible!

And since you answered my question, I'll answer it as well: hen green-winged teal. Teal are insanely delicious (my #1 bird this season, which ended yesterday). But the hens have the cutest little quack and such perky little faces that I always feel like a monster when I kill them. But not enough to stop doing it, obviously.

Some day I'll write a post about the hen teal that haunts me the most.

If you had to change lives with one person. Currently living, for 1 day. Who would you choose?

Do you eat the bones and beaks also? I'd worry about bones getting caught in my throat or going thru my system

Hi Andrew! I am a long time fan! I know you have been around food most of your life and know a lot about a variety of foods and cultures but is there one place/food or culture that you learned from the most during your travels?

When you are traveling for your tv shows and going from restaurant to restaurant - you taste an abundance of foods. Do you finish all of the dishes served to you?

I rewatched your Bizzare Foods Alaska last night and watching you eat those spoiled salmon eggs was hard to watch LOL, How can people find that food even edible? How do you not get just sick?
