Ask Me Anything: Best Movies About Food
I also answer your questions about what to eat in Las Vegas (and that time I took Carrot Top out for dinner) and talk about why I still don't like Spam.
Hello from out west, where I’ve been visiting my son. Thanks for the birthday wishes! I love answering your questions. If you like this feature, subscribe to Spilled Milk, get yourself to the comments section and ask me whatever you like: In recent weeks I’ve talked about why I like farmed seafood, disc golf and my favorite ’80s movies.

This week’s questions
Marmi:
Favorite food-related movies other than Big Night? Thoughts on Casa Bonita, which recently reopened in Denver?
Jason:
When are you going back to Vietnam? It’s been so long since I’ve seen or heard anything. The only two true foodies travelers are you and Anthony. Would love to see you do a new one for Anthony Bourdain since he loved Vietnam so much. Love & Respect.
Olenka:
If you’ve got a list for Cleveland, you must have one for Las Vegas! Where should I eat when I’m out there?
Palatacious:
Where did you get your passion for food from?
Soodbrandon:
Favorite restaurant in Twin Cities? Favorite restaurant greater MN?
Craig Henry:
I am intrigued by your advocating complete well balanced meals in schools for all. When I was in school they supplemented a lot with surplus food but a lot was made in the kitchen of each school.
As we try and squeeze every school dollar the importance of the food is lost and to our detriment. Do you work with organizations that advocate for better school lunch menus?
Gsgrl143:
How many days of the year are you home and not traveling?
Cryder_13:
Are you still not a fan of spam? Lol.
Caro_marie:
Crunchy or Creamy?
Dabble_Creative:
You’re given 1 week to live. Where/what are you eating?
CKPipes:
Have you ever aced in disc golf?
An awesome “food movie” is the French film “Vatel” with Gérard Depardieu. It’s the true story of François Vatel a famous chef who in 1671 was commissioned by a prince to produce a massive 3 day food and festivities event for King Louis XIV. Incredible true story with food to titillate the senses!
I think Anthony Bourdain will be
an amazing part of our food scene
always! Remember the promise of
Resurrection😊 If you know you know.😘
